Jo’s recent ceramic collections of sculpted beasts use rustic clays, muted glazing and textured surfaces to evoke a playful recall to objects of antiquity. Each piece is uniquely crafted and collectable.
Jo Sharp studied fine art at Curtin Uni (W.A.I.T), Claremont School of Art & Albany TAFE. During her art and design career she has won awards for her mixed media painting and has exhibited her works at galleries in Albany, Perth, Dunsborough and on the east coast of Australia. Her paintings are included in the WA Art Bank collection. Jo is also known internationally for her many published collections of hand knitting designs.
